Justine Greene is one of UK radio’s most recognisable news voices – having presented news programmes and written and read the news on BBC national radio for the past 25 years. She delivers the latest news each week across BBC Radio 2, BBC 6Music, BBC Radio 5live and BBC World Service.
Justine is often heard reporting for BBC Radio 4 and is part of the network’s General Election specials team. She also presented the Radio 4 drama documentary The Bid. Justine is also an experienced TV presenter and reporter for BBC News.
Previously she co-presented Breakfast, Drive and Weekend Breakfast on BBC Radio 5live for almost a decade and hosted her own show on BBC CWR for 9 years -- as well as working across other BBC local radio stations.
Justine is also a podcast host – interviewing the CEOs of large multinational companies from Legal and General, Ernst and Young, Capita to Rio Tinto. Justine has a very distinctive voice and as a voice-over artist features on Steve Wright Love Songs Extra on BBC Sounds.
As an experienced actress she has performed in spaces as diverse as the National Theatre and Russia’s Gorky Theatre (New Experimental Theatre) – as well as appearing in the critically acclaimed independent film The Stupid Boy.
She is an accomplished public speaker, event host and media trainer. Justine is also a passionate cat lover and supporter of rescue charities, hosting fundraising events for Cats Protection and has been a celebrity judge at the National Cat Awards.
